Halloween: The Game Collector’s Edition: Contents & Stock

The physical Limited Collector’s Edition is announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X at a US MSRP of USD 149.99. Core contents and dated retailer checks are kept separate: the original October 6 announcement does not guarantee current stock or delivery.

Physical availability check: October 22, 2026

The original October 6 announcement is not a universal delivery date. Current retailer pages disagree, so check the exact country, platform and SKU before ordering.

The official physical announcement still gives October 6. Best Buy’s October 27 is a retailer/SKU observation, not proof that all physical editions were globally delayed. GAME’s inconsistent far-future date is not treated as a real release date. Stock and pricing can change after this check.

These are US and Spanish listings, not proof of availability or local pricing in Russia, Latin America or Brazil. Verify delivery country, currency and disc hardware before paying. October 27 DLC is separate from the physical cosmetic advance-access benefits: the update overview keeps them apart.

Quick Answer#

The official product name is Halloween: The Game Limited Collector’s Edition. Its announced US MSRP is $149.99, its physical versions are for PS5 and Xbox Series X, and it includes the full game on disc. The announced physical release date is October 6, 2026.

The official list includes Michael Myers cosmetics, four Civilian cosmetics, a poster, an action figure, lenticular art, and “more surprises.” That last phrase leaves the packing list open, so the known items should not be presented as a final closed inventory.

Core package evidence checked: September 8, 2026. Retailer/date discrepancies rechecked: October 22, 2026, in the table above.

The release-date guide keeps the September digital launch separate from this package’s October street date. Check the PS5 guide for console-specific online and language details, and the character guide for the Standard and Deluxe roster boundary.

Confirmed Contents#

A physical comic appeared in lower-tier retailer reporting, but the first-party core list retained for this page does not close that claim. It is therefore not promoted into the confirmed first-party contents table.

Edition Comparison#

The Collector’s Edition does not carry the September 4 Digital Deluxe Early Access window. The October 6 date is its physical release boundary. The Phantom cosmetic is separated as a digital-preorder benefit and is not included with physical preorder under the official FAQ.

The prices above are product-level US references, not a total-cost comparison. Tax, shipping, regional pricing, retailer promotions, subscriptions, and future purchases are excluded.

Retailer Snapshot#

These are dated product-listing observations, not live stock signals and not an official retailer whitelist.

E.Leclerc’s “Xbox Series” wording does not establish an Xbox Series S disc version. The official physical platform statement names Xbox Series X, which has the disc drive required by the package.

Stock can change independently by country, retailer, platform, and SKU. A September 8 Add to Cart, Coming Soon, preorder, out-of-stock, or sold-out label should never be rewritten as current availability.

Cosmetic Access#

The Collector’s Edition provides advance access to the Clown and Samhain Michael Myers cosmetics and four Civilian cosmetics. Official wording says these can also be earned through in-game challenges. They are therefore not permanent Collector’s Edition exclusives.

This distinction also applies when comparing editions:

• Advance access changes when or how an item becomes available to the buyer.
• Exclusive physical item describes something tied to the physical package, such as its identified poster, figure, or lenticular art.
• Digital preorder exclusive is a separate eligibility rule; the Phantom cosmetic belongs to that category and is not a physical-preorder item.
• Game Early Access refers to the September 4 Digital Deluxe preorder window and is not included with the October 6 physical Collector’s Edition.

Delivery and Redemption#

October 6 is the announced physical release or street-date boundary. It is not a guarantee that every order ships before that date, arrives on that date, or is ready for pickup in every store.

The evidence package does not establish a universal physical preorder cutoff. It also does not publish a reliable, platform-independent method for delivering or redeeming the Collector’s Edition’s digital cosmetic access. Until first-party instructions or the package itself provide that detail, do not assume a code location, redemption portal, expiration date, or account-linking sequence.

If a retailer page disagrees with the official edition description, preserve the retailer listing as a dated observation and use the first-party announcement for core package identity. Do not silently merge conflicting item counts.

Buying Checklist#

1. Confirm that the listing says Limited Collector’s Edition, not Standard or Digital Deluxe.
2. Match the platform to your hardware: PS5 or Xbox Series X for the announced physical package.
3. Match the product identifier or SKU, especially when two platform versions appear on the same retailer.
4. Check the currency and delivery country before comparing the price with the USD 149.99 MSRP.
5. Read the live stock and shipping state; the September 8 observations above are historical snapshots.
6. Treat October 6 as the announced release date, not a guaranteed arrival date.
7. Keep advance-access cosmetics separate from permanent exclusives and from Digital Deluxe game Early Access.

Before checkout, classify each benefit as a disc, physical collectible, advance-access cosmetic, digital-preorder reward, or unknown/open item. This prevents the phrases “exclusive,” “advance access,” and “more surprises” from being treated as interchangeable.

FAQ#

Does the Collector’s Edition include the full game on disc?

Yes. The official announcement says the full game is on disc for the PS5 and Xbox Series X physical package.

How much is the Limited Collector’s Edition?

The official US MSRP is USD 149.99. September 8 retailer snapshots also showed CAD 209.99 in Canada and EUR 149.99 in France, but those are regional listings rather than global MSRP conversions.

What platforms have a physical Collector’s Edition?

PS5 and Xbox Series X. A retailer’s broader “Xbox Series” label does not prove an Xbox Series S disc edition.

What is inside the box?

The official list names the disc, Clown and Samhain cosmetic advance access, four Civilian cosmetic advance-access items, an exclusive poster, a Shape Jump Variant action figure, exclusive lenticular art, and “more surprises.” The open-ended wording means the list is not declared exhaustive.

Are the Clown and Samhain cosmetics exclusive forever?

No. They are described as advance access and can also be earned through in-game challenges.

Does it include Digital Deluxe Early Access?

No. The September 4 game Early Access window belonged to eligible Digital Deluxe preorders. October 6 was the original announced physical date, not proof of current stock or delivery.

Is the Phantom cosmetic included?

No. The official physical FAQ separates Phantom as a digital-preorder-exclusive reward and says it is not included with physical preorder.

Where can I buy it?

Use the October 22 availability check for dated US and Spanish listings. The September 8 table is historical. Neither table guarantees stock after its check date or delivery to your address.

Is October 6 a guaranteed delivery date?

No. It is the announced physical release date. Shipping, pickup, and delivery depend on the retailer, SKU, inventory, address, and service level.

How are the digital cosmetic rewards redeemed?

The retained public evidence did not establish a universal redemption method. Do not assume a code, portal, or account-linking flow until first-party or in-box instructions identify it.

Does the box contain two posters?

That is unresolved. The official list has one poster line, while some retailer page hierarchy could be read differently. This guide does not convert that conflict into a two-poster claim.
